Day 1 MHeuer
I felt we hit the ground running and got a lot accomplished. I was glad we didn't play any of the get to know you activities that I am so tired of from inservices and workshops. I was glad we looked at the Horizon Reports as I had found them interesting when Aly showed them to us in a previous class. I had no idea what an RSS is or the what the symbol that represents an RSS is for. This class is very relevant to me as a teacher and I am expecting to use web 2.0 tools this school year that I didn't even know existed last year.

RSS feeds can be embedded into wikispaces to create custom reading lists for students. For instance, a teacher can grab rss feeds from sports sites and embed in a wiki. Then students can access the site for SSR. RSS 4 SSR!
