This blog took me a long time to write, mainly because I needed a break from even thinking about blogging. I am overwhelmed by this class as I have said many times already. I am taking some time to digest the info that we have been given and trying to think about how it can be applied to my classroom. We did learn a lot of stuff on this day that I can see myself using with my students but I need to be comfortable with it before I can expect my 2nd graders to even understand it.
As I go through and try to wrap my mind around the homework, I am starting to become discouraged that I will never see the end. I find it extremely hard to read a text book from front to back. As I do little by little, I hope to feel that I am accomplishing something!
I think your approach sounds like a good one. We are covering tons of topics and tools in class. The hope is that in the next three days you can determine what will be most useful for you and begin to focus in on those areas.
