Day 6 Reflections

Our day went well today! I hope yours did also. Now we wait for October to see how you put into action all you have learned. I felt like most folks left with a good idea and plan for what you and the students will be doing.

At first, when it came to the work time, I sensed some push back like it was too soon to think about the final project. I hope I didn't force you too hard to map out a plan and start building resources for the project. I thought it was great when I saw folks pick out a tool to match their idea and investigate how it will work and start setting things up! It was neat to see someone using testing a blog rss feed into iGoogle! That showed real initiative and application of things we have discussed in class.

I encourage you to keep at it and email, skype, whatever with me for support on even the smallest concern/question. We discussed screencasts for a gallery walk in October, but did
not come to a consensus on that. If you think that is a good idea, let me know. I will send out a survey a couple of weeks or so when you might have a better idea for your presentation.

I will devise a plan for submission of the narrative, lesson plan, and other materials. I do not plan to collect a paper copies.
