Day 2

So many tools and so little time! I was impressed with Symbaloo, side channeling, wikis and all the opportunities to make your information creative and practical. It is so frustrating to not know all the ins and outs of certain pathways to the programs that you want to incorporate in your day.
There are a lot of assumptions and I just need lots of practice and an opportunity to sift through all the choices and concentrate on the ones that will be most useful to my Kindergarten session.
So many of these apps are great for upper level kids and I can see such relevance and exciting
choices ahead for them.

  1. I do agree there are a lot of tools out there, and we haven't had much time to learn or play with them. But, it does kind of seem like when you know how to use one, you can figure another one out pretty easily. Take Diigo, similar to Delicious, iGoogle, similar to Netvibes and PageFlakes, geoGreeting similar to spell with Flickr, Skype similar to Wimba, and the list goes on. Don't be afraid!! Choose a few that you are more comfortable to start, then expand as you master them:)
