Moodle

I will be using Moodle for the first time this coming school year in an inclusion social studies class. My students will have their own accounts.
Do you use Moodle as part of your classroom instruction? If you do, please let me know if you have any tips to share from your experience.
Thanks!

  1. You can use moodle as part of your instruction depending on what you put on your moodle. I have a flashcard link on my moodle and the kids use it at stations to review vocab.

Email me and I'd be happy to share some ideas for using Moodle in your SS class.

  3. You can use Moodle like a web page, as many teachers do. But, if it were me, I'd use it to post assignments (with complete directions), with rich video and resources. The more interactive you make it, the more useful the kids will find it. Discussions are awesome to get all students participating and the chat feature can be used to sidechannel.

CHeck out moodle.org for all the information about the different modules.
